Our Little Entrepreneur

Braxton decided about a week ago that he wanted to have a lemonade stand. So, I finally was a good mom today and made some lemonade. When I asked him how much he wanted to charge for our delicious pink lemonade he said, "Well, the lemonade will be free, but I will take tips." So, he took a small cooler full of ice and his Nickelodeon magazine and set up shop in our front yard. Business was a little slow at times (as you can see by the photo above), but he did end up making $1.95. He even left in the middle of his shift and bought some lemonade from a boy down the street who also had a lemonade stand today. I bet we will be heading to the dollar store tomorrow to share the wealth.

Must be something about the age. JD wants to do that same thing. Although he wanted to charge $4! I think free lemonade is a great sales pitch! Braxton is smart and has grown up so much! We miss you guys!

Dallin was making lemonade stand signs during church today. Then he made one that said "no more lemonade today". I guess he is pretty confident in himself as a salesman.

I love it - every boy's dream - make money selling lemonade..... My oldest never did grow out of it - and he spent 2 summers in Florida selling pest control to prove it! The world is yours when your a salesman.....
